It is a major supplier of secondary packaging solutions and equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, specialising in packaging for parenteral products. It is particularly well known for developing the NeoTOP top-loading process, which can provide versatility and modular integration in packaging parenterals and fragile consignments.

The group has more than 10,000 employees worldwide, across Digital, Pharma, Supply Chain , Tissue, and Tobacco business areas. It was founded in 1946 by Kurt Körber, who owned all of the shares of the parent company, Körber AG, until his death in 1992, when sole ownership passed to the Körber Foundation.
