Eva Maria del Amo, PhD, is a Senior Researcher and Docent in the Department of Biopharmacy, School of Pharmacy, and a member of the DrugTech Research Community at the University of Eastern Finland. A pharmaceutical scientist by training, Dr del Amo’s research primarily focuses on the development of novel ophthalmic pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic tools to guide dosage selection, inform new ocular formulations design and support drug development. She is an author of over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles with more than 2,000 citations.
