Yannick Baschung, PhD, has more than ten years of experience in chemistry, manufacturing and controls activities, including five years in orally inhaled and nasal drug product (OINDP) development and analytical services.

Currently, he is the head of the Drug Delivery & Physical Characterisation Services team at Solvias.  Previously, he led the OINDP analytical services team, where he accompanied several products from early clinical phase to successful commercial launch.

Dr Baschung is a member of the EDQM inhalation working group and holds a master’s degree from the University of Bordeaux (France) and Uppsala University (Sweden), and a PhD in Biomedical Mass Spectrometry from the University of Rostock (Germany). His interests include formulation, aerosol science and drug-device combination products.
