Queen’s University Belfast
Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) is a leading university in the UK and Ireland, and a member of the Russell Group of UK research intensive universities, ranked 43rd in the world (Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021).
One of the key research themes at QUB’s School of Pharmacy is Drug Delivery and Biomaterials, and the university’s research into micro-array patches for microneedle-based drug delivery has gained worldwide recognition.
QUB was founded in 1845 as Queen’s College Belfast and became an independent university in 1908.
