Colby Chen is a Senior Engineer and Team Leader at SHL Medical’s Automation Systems Department. He leads the team responsible for the R&D of new automation machines and modules, proposing technologies and solutions with enhanced product performance and reliability. The team has successfully developed cutting-edge automation systems for autoinjector assembly, including the SMART assembly machine. Mr Chen specialises in design for manufacturability, design for assembly and tolerance analysis processes, with extensive experience optimising designs for production efficiency and quality.
