Yeli Zhang, PhD, is an Application and Innovation Technical Service Manager at IFF Pharma Solutions and has been working in the excipient industry for over 20 years. She started her Technical Service Manager role at FMC Health and Nutrition, where she was responsible for providing technical support to FMC’s North America excipient market. Dr Zhang continued her Technical Service Manager role at DuPont Pharma Solutions and later IFF Pharma Solutions through multiple company mergers and acquisitions. Prior to her current Technical Service Manager role, Dr Zhang worked at FMC Health and Nutrition as a Senior Scientist in excipient product development and support. Before joining FMC, she worked at the National Starch and Chemical Company (an ICI company) as a Senior Scientist in the areas of starch excipient and delivery system development. Dr Zhang received her PhD at Cornell University (NY, US) in the field of Polymer Science and Biomaterials.
