Hans J Jensen is Business Development Leader, Drug Delivery at Cambridge Design Partnership. Prior to that, until Dec 2021, he was Global Business Development Director at Consort Medical’s Bespak division (now part of Recipharm). He was previously with Medicom Innovation Partner (which was acquired by Phillips-Medisize) since 1991. Mr Jensen is an industry expert with more than 25 years of experience working with advanced electronic auto-injectors and connected health systems, wearable injectors and pharmaceutical markets and strategies.

FROM VIAL TO WEARABLE INJECTOR

While autoinjectors are often the delivery method of choice for patient self-administration, there are occasions when a vial and syringe format is required. To overcome the problems associated with this method, Medicom has developed a flexible, wearable patch pump which can accept a simple glass vial and provide a fully automated injection system.
