Linara Gabitova Cornell, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at West, with 15 years of experience in oncology research, cancer biology, immuno-oncology and in vivo pharmacology. She has contributed to preclinical studies advancing CAR Monocyte and mRNA LNP therapies for solid tumours and liver fibrosis, including research supporting multiple IND-enabling programmes.

Dr Cornell completed her graduate and postdoctoral training at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, PA, US), where she investigated cholesterol metabolism and signalling in cancer. At West, her work focuses on the development and optimisation of containment and delivery systems for advanced therapies.
