Sylvine Raverdy-Wilson, PhD, is Manager of Clinical and Human Factors for Wearable Injectors for BD Medical – Pharmaceutical Systems. Dr Raverdy-Wilson leads innovation in drug delivery systems through user-centred design, design validation and customised customer partnership. She integrates human factors engineering and clinical expertise to ensure the development of safe, effective and patient-friendly medical devices. Based in Franklin Lakes, NJ, US, she collaborates across R&D, quality and regulatory teams to translate user needs into impactful design solutions.

Dr Raverdy-Wilson holds an engineering degree in Biotechnology from the ESBS (Strasbourg, France) and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Strasbourg (France). Before joining BD in 2012, she focused on identifying and characterising drug targets for bacterial and parasitic diseases at Harvard Medical School (MA, US) and New England Biolabs (MA, US).
