Thomas Roschke, PhD, leads the global operating Johnson MedTech group with locations in Hong Kong/Shenzhen (China), Dayton (OH, US) and Dresden (Germany). Dr Roschke studied Electrical Engineering and Precision
Mechanics at Dresden University of Technology (Germany), where he earned his PhD focusing on controlled electromagnetic actuators. He later joined Saia-Burgess Dresden GmbH (small stepper and synchronous motors)
as R&D Manager and Managing Director. In the field of medical devices, he works on drive trains of minimally invasive powered surgical devices, precise medication dosing for hormones and biologics and on sensors and wearables for vital signs, such as ECG, EEG and EMG.
