Hoffmann Neopac designs, develops and produces metal and plastic packaging in five locations: Hoffmann tins in Thun and CMP tins in Holland; Polyfoil® and plastic tubes with Neopac in Switzerland and in Hungary. Its longstanding customers include internationally active pharmaceutical, cosmetics and consumer goods manufacturers in the European and North American markets.
In the pharma market, its Polyfoil® tubes protect against light, air, water vapour diffusion and substance migration, and are compatible with liquid or semi-solid medication. The range includes single-dose tubes and airless pump or dropper tubes, and those with tamper-proof and child resistant features. Applicators facilitate correct dosage and the application of medicine in dermatology, ophthalmology, animal health and pain relief.
In 2018 the company took a majority stake in 3D Technopack Ltd (Mumbai, India), securing a foothold in the Asian market, and a new production facility in the US is anticipated to be ready in Spring 2019.
