Haselmeier, the drug delivery device business division of medmix, designs, develops and manufactures advanced drug delivery systems such as pen injection systems and autoinjectors, based on its proprietary IP (>200 patents granted with numerous further patents pending) and a broad portfolio of technologies and services. The company collaborates closely with pharma and biopharma customers, with a focus on delivering user-friendly injection systems that enable patients to self-administer their medication reliably and accurately.
Haselmeier was founded in 1920 and now has close to 250 employees. In October 2020, Haselmeier was acquired by Sulzer AG for an estimated €100 million. In 2021, Sulzer spun of its Applicator Systems (APS) division, which included Haselmeier, listed the new entity on the SIX Swiss stock exchange, and renamed it medmix.
