David Johnston, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Torramics, is a leader in injectable drug and drug delivery product development, having worked with Abbott, Baxter, Medtronic and others. In his various roles in the industry, Mr Johnston’s teams have taken various injectable antibiotics, diagnostic, epidural, intrathecal and subcutaneous delivery devices to market, along with specialised systems for inactivating pathogens in blood products.

As a consultant, he has contributed to product development in delivering insulin, mAbs, intraocular lenses and others, along with regulatory process optimisation and design transfer strategies. Mr Johnston is a graduate of the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI, US) in Biochemical Engineering.
