James Blakemore is Senior Insight and Strategy Consultant at Cambridge Design Partnership. Before CDP, he was Senior Consultant in the Medical Technology division at Cambridge Consultants where he specialised in market strategy and transaction support within the pharmaceutical and drug delivery device markets.

Prior to working in the healthcare consulting industry, Dr Blakemore worked in a number of business development and licensing roles for speciality pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, working towards the identification, validation and commercialisation of broad new therapies.

He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from King’s College, University of London, UK.
