Dan Yates is Senior Director, R&D, at West Pharmaceutical Services, where he leads the development of advanced drug containment and delivery technologies, including on-body systems and other self-injection platforms. He has more than 20 years of experience in medical device and combination product development and supports West’s pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners in bringing patient-centric delivery solutions to market.

Before West, Mr Yates held R&D and engineering leadership roles at WL Gore & Associates, where he worked on the development of advanced implantable and endovascular medical devices. He holds an MBA from Arizona State University (AZ, US) and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington (WA, US).
