Erik Schwartz, PhD, is a Staff Scientist for LNP compounds and copolymers and is responsible for developing sustainable thermoplastic polymer solutions for SABIC’s Specialties business unit. Dr Schwartz has a PhD in Polymer Science from Nijmegen University (The Netherlands) and has co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed research papers and over 20 patent applications. Before joining SABIC, he spent several years working at the Scripps Research Institute in California (US) and at the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands).
