Horacio Pace-Bedetti, PhD, is a Usability Engineering Specialist at Novo Nordisk, where he leads human factors engineering activities supporting the development of medical devices and drug-device combination products. He holds a PhD in Healthcare Technology from the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) and has expertise in usability engineering, risk management, user research and regulatory compliance. Before joining Novo Nordisk in 2021, he led human factors and risk-management activities at Biogen. Dr Pace-Bedetti contributes to international human factors and medical-device standards initiatives and serves as an editor for the Journal of Human Factors in Healthcare.
