Scott Russo, PhD, is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Synolus Medical. A mechanical engineer with a focus in biomechanics, Dr Russo founded Synolus in 2020
after leading the development and commercialisation of more than 10 medical devices across orthopaedics, drug delivery and ophthalmology, spanning diagnostic,
surgical and therapeutic applications. Prior to Synolus, he held senior leadership positions at Unilife and AstraZeneca, and served as Chief Technology Officer at
Volk Optical (Halma).
